After Treatment

After Treatment...Now What?

During treatment, and while seeing doctors on a regular basis, patients can experience a sense of control and support. After treatment ends, many women experience feelings of fear, loneliness, and anxiety. Many questions arise regarding general health, exercise, nutrition, financial issues, and alternative medicines and healing.

If you didn’t seek out support groups during treatment, you may want to now with other cancer survivors. Women who are living with reoccurrences or metastatic breast cancer can be an inspiration and wealth of information as well. Online discussion boards such as the one found on breastcancer.org can be helpful too.
